Zedd & Alessia Cara Dethrone The Chainsmokers From #1 On US Pop Radio

Listen To Zedd’s New Song With Alessia Cara, “Stay,” Out Now!

It’s been a long time that The Chainsmokers have been #1 on basically every chart, but there’s a new king in town now… and his name is Zedd! Along with help from Alessia Cara, “Stay” has overtaken “Something Just Like This” on the US Pop Radio Top 40.

And one of the amazing things is that, according to Pop Crave, “Stay” placed #1 by a margin of only 17 spins.

'Stay' by Zedd & Alessia Cara is now the #1 song on US Pop Radio. Congratulations, @Zedd & @alessiacara! pic.twitter.com/qFz0UBtwrN

“Stay” pushed “Something Just Like This” down to the #2 position, while “It Ain’t Me” by Kygo & Selena Gomez rounds out the top 3. This is a pretty great moment in the history of dance music as producers dominate the top 3 spots in the chart for what is probably the first time ever.
