Terravita released their last album in 2014, Rituals. It’s been a long time since then; a lot about Terravita and dance music in general has changed in the three years since it was released. But now, Terravita is ready to release a new album and they’ve just released the first track, a collaboration with P0gman, “Clap Back.”
Terravita’s own Jon Spero once again spits bars over the track, delivering that unmistakable Terravita sound to the mix. As for P0gman’s contribution, there’s definitely a sort of riddim swagger to the tune that could be attributed to him, though the actual sound design seems to be a lot of Terravita’s work.
Regardless of who did what, the track absolutely bangs and is a great indicator of things to come for the album. There’s no release date yet, but it will be called Basslife. Download “Clap Back” for free until Friday.
