MTV‘s Video Music Awards return Sunday, August 27 and the nominees are here!

While pop and hip hop dominate most categories, electronic dance music is holding its own… The Chainsmokers (Best Collaboration, Best Editing) and Calvin Harris (Best Collaboration, Best Dance Video) lead with 2 nominations each, while the later must directly compete with fellow DJ/producers Afrojack, Kygo, Major Lazer, and Zedd for the title of Best Dance Video.

Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with his hit song and music video for “HUMBLE.” — and he’ll battle it out with Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Lorde and more for Artist of the Year, and DJ Khaled, Alessia Cara, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd for Video of the Year.

Enjoy the five nominated dance videos here, and check out the full list of nominees below. Don’t forget — voting is now open, so support your favorites here!
