Slushii just recently dropped his “debut” album, Out Of Light, and he’s already hard at work on his next project.
While some producers would take their time after an album to tour it, not Slushii. And instead of looking toward the future, he’s looking to the past. On Twitter, the producer announced that he was “saying fuck it” and working on an EP that would focus on 2008-2011 style dance music. This period is significant as a popular time for progressive house, the peak of electro house, and the birth of dubstep – the possibilities are quite endless as far as inspiration goes.
