In the immortal words of Eminem, “If you had one shot, one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted, in one moment, would you capture it? Or just let it slip?”
Sometimes all it takes is one moment to make an artist’s career. Yes, there are usually years and years of hard work behind the scenes leading up to that moment, but I’m talking about that climax, that crescendo, the pinnacle of hard work where everyone can finally see it and say, “Ah… there it is.”
For HVDES, that moment might have been at this past weekend at Nocturnal Wonderland when Dr Fresch brought her up as a special guest to play out one of her unreleased tracks. As you can see from the video, the crowd went absolutely crazy for it and it was a stellar moment in the young producer’s burgeoning career.
We were able to hit up HVDES for her thoughts on the moment, this is what she said:
“It was the most incredible experience I’ve had thus far. I’ve been working so FUCKIng hard over the last few years and it feels like things are starting to finally fall into place. I have so much music to share. This shit gives me life. It’s the reason I breathe. and seeing 20,000 people rage face to my music was just fucking incredible. I can’t even put it into words. I am so beyond excited to be able to play my own full set on a stage like that, and to drop all these new tunes for y’all to really see what HVDES is about.
This is just the beginning. Trust me.”
I was actually a judge when HVDES’ was presenting one of her final projects at Icon Collective Production School in Los Angeles, and I can personally attest to her crazy talent – no one’s ready for this.
Check out her Soundcloud below and hit that follow button, there’s going to be a lot more music on there soon enough.
