It’s that time of year for holiday remixes and reboots of Christmas classics — and this one comes from EDM’s favorite songstress Ellie Goulding!
Other than collaborating with Kygo for “First Time,” we haven’t heard much from the pop star lately. After a relatively quiet year, Goulding has chose to cap off 2017 with a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night” as an official release — and it’s pure music to our ears!
Carrying the weight of a classic Christmas carol, with whimsical production and an enchanting choir, Goulding’s voice travels angelically over the piano-driven track. While its not what we’re used to hearing from the singer, it’s a sure sign she’s been working in the studio.
