In a real nail biter, Daft Punk just barely triumphed over Swedish House Mafia in our latest poll!
Thanks to everyone who voted — we know it’s not easy to choose between these two legendary acts. While both are widely cherished in EDM, both are quite elusive nowadays — hence the comparison.
With nearly 10 thousand total votes, Daft Punk won over 51% of you, while Swedish House Mafia came up short with 49%. There are strong arguments both ways as to which act should trump the other. 
“EDM shows wouldn’t be what they are today if it wasn’t for Daft Punk and their Alive 2007 tour, anyone who votes for SHM is just ignorant,” one commenter said.
Another chimed in with a mic drop-esque remark, “There are two types of people in this world: those who chose Daft Punk and those who are wrong.”
Some yearn for a Daft Punk tour, while others dream of a SHM reunion. This time, one more time we’re gonna celebrate!
