Dua Lipa is one of pop music’s hottest acts right now, and even EDM loves her. After a breakout single with Martin Garrix on “Scared To Be Lonely,” she’s gone on to achieve Number 1 single, three Platinum hits and a Gold-certified album in the UK alone in 2017.
Now, she’s taking 2018 by the horns as she starts work on her second album by sharing a picture of herself in the studio with Diplo and Mark Ronson. The two producers were recently revealed to have their own side project called Silk City in the Governors Ball lineup announcement; this photo is the first evidence that Silk City is more than just a live music project, and they could potentially have some recorded original music in the works!
For now, this is all we have to go on, but it’s an exciting revelation that proves worthy of keeping an eye on this year!
