This is not a drill! Snapchat is putting Stories back in their place!

Once again, Stories have their own space to exist on the app. While this is certainly a notable improvement, it’s still a far cry from retreating back to the “old” Snapchat that users love and miss and have even petitioned to get back.

But of course, Snapchat has to be annoying to a certain degree and still refuses to put the Stories in chronological order of the latest update. Just, why? You’re messing with our heads here.

Despite an overwhelming amount of user backlash over the huge 2018 update, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel essentially says “get used it.”

By putting everything from your friends in one place, our goal was to make it easier to connect with the people you care about most. The new Friends page will adapt to you and get smarter over time, reflecting who you’re most likely to be Snapping with at that moment. This same personalization is also true of the new Discover, which will adapt to you the more that you use it.
