Swedish House Mafia Actually Premiered Two Unreleased Songs At Ultra

swedish house mafia ultra 2018 fire

An earlier tracklist from 1001tracklists listed two IDs played during Swedish House Mafia’s set last night as belonging to Steve Angello. The website and aggregator has now updated the tracklist and claims that those same two IDs are actually two brand new Swedish House Mafia originals.

Early reports from @TheFPIA claimed three unreleased tracks, and we personally believed we wouldn’t hear any new tracks. But if these two are indeed new SHM tunes, then that opens up the possibilities for the future of the trio in 2018. Will these songs be released? Will they be a part of a larger EP or album? Could they potentially tour…? The possibilities now seem wide open.

It’s worth noting that the hook in the second ID, “Don’t call it a comeback,” comes from an LL Cool J song, “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

This new information, now coupled with many of the comments made by Axwell throughout the set, lead us to believe that there’s more to expect from Swedish House Mafia soon.

Listen to the two new suspected tracks at 25:54 and 28:30 in the set below.
