After two years of anticipation, Beyoncé showed Coachella a headlining performance last night.
Fully loaded with fiery tracks from her 2016 album Lemonade, Queen Bey took the stage with a full band, tons of dancers, and a whole lot of slay. Favorites like “Drunk In Love,” “Formation,” “Diva,” “7/11,” “Flawless” and so many more were reworked for a legendary live music experience. It’s actually crazy how many hits Beyoncé has, and when she sings them back-to-back it sounds even more impressive.
She even worked in her hubby Jay-Z for a track — “Déjà Vu.” He popped up looking as fresh as ever and the two radiated their chemistry on stage. There was hardly any time to gather our thoughts or catch our breath before two other women joined Bey on stage.
Destiny’s Child reunited in full force right before our very eyes. The track selection was on point, too. “Lose My Breath,” “Soldier” and — oh yes — “Say My Name.” Honestly, these tracks have never sounded so amazing. Praise the internet for letting us replay it over and over again.
Watch the girls take over Coachella’s main stage right here! Plus, check out today’s schedule. There’s plenty more of Coachella to be seen (not that anything will top Beyoncé).
