Electric Daisy Carnival returns to Las Vegas this year, but some things are different. First and foremost, the festival lands an entire month earlier this year, falling on the weekend before Memorial Day, May 18-20, to try and help alleviate some of the issues caused by heat in years past. Another difference this year will be the introduction of camping.
However, not everything has changed. If you’re in town and not focused on the festival all three days, many of the same DJs will be playing at the dayclubs and nightclubs on the Strip all week. XS Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, and Intrigue Nightclub in particular have several events for EDM fans, giving visitors the chance to see their favorite DJs in a more intimate setting.
Wynn Nightlife/Daylife will be kicking off the weekend early on Wednesday, May 16 with Marshmello, who will be getting the party started at Intrigue. Wynn Nightlife then swings into EDM, by bringing in Black Coffee during the day at Encore Beach Club, followed by a full throttle jump into deep house with Jaime Jones and Friends, for a Night Swim edition of Encore Beach Club. If you want to keep dry, David Guetta will be commanding the decks over at XS Nightclub.
Other notable acts performing during the weekend will be The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, RL Grime and Marshmello.
So if you’re a fan of dance music and you plan on being in town May 16-21, then make sure you stop by Wynn to see some of the world’s best DJs throw down. Even if you weren’t able to get tickets to EDC, these clubs have you covered with event after event to keep you partying all weekend long.
