Amazon x Apple Music is now a thing!

The two music giants are finally teaming up, as Apple Music is about become available on Amazon’s Echo. Previously this was not an option, but come December 17th, users will be able to access Apple Music’s sprawling library via smart speaker.

Apple and Amazon are still competitors in other aspects. For example, Amazon doesn’t sell the Siri-driven HomePod as of now. Instead, the commerce website offers its own Echo. At least with this agreement they have come to some terms. It’s nice to see Amazon and Apple playing nice together.

With this move, Apple Music joins Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Amazon’s own Amazon Music. All of which are services currently offered by the Echo and other Alexa devices.

“Alexa, play Bassnectar.”
