Dutch producer Lyfes boasts a lot of hit-making potential with his easy listening official remix of “So Precious,” originally by Askling. Radio friendly vocals combined with the remixer’s personal twist on the production hint at something released from Rihanna and Justin Bieber. The drops are short and sweet contributing more of a pop feel to the song. While tropical elements fill the atmosphere, it’s hard not to daydream and think happy thoughts when listening.
The remix is in a package of four and stood out to me in particular because it is Lyfes’ first release on Spotify. I know that this is a big milestone for artists, not to mention he’s only a teenager! Lyfes has announced that his first original single titled “Sun Goes Down” is planned for release on March 22nd. With this announcement, it’s safe to say that the young artist has a very bright future ahead in 2019!
