Safe to say that one of the most influential artists in dance music history is Kaskade. As one of the OGs in the scene, he helped pioneer the house and progressive based sounds that have become staples of the main stage at festivals everywhere. Producers everywhere are still striving to capture his combination of groove and emotion in their songs to this day. The greatest seal of approval from an artist in dance music is most certainly the collab, so when Kaskade reaches out to produce a track with you, it’s a big deal.
In this the case, the collab happens to be between Kaskade and Cheat Codes, their new track “Be The One” takes the classic Kaskade sound and gives it a modern update. From the opening drum hit, combined with the synth reverb, you get classic Kaskade Atmosphere vibes. Cheat Codes lays down their vocals over the future house synth track that heads into a nice buildup. The drop is perfect for the dancefloor in 2019, with synths combining elements of electro and psy-trance. Expect this track to be a staple in both Kaskade and Cheat Codes sets all summer long.
