Sublime melodies, rolling bass rhythms, and a soaring vocal performance play up the narrative of an uneasy love within a platonic relationship. It’s a love story many of us can relate to — deep down they both know they’re more than just friends, but they both have to be on the same page to love harmoniously.
That lovesick energy is met with a gritty underlying factor, one that’s present in much of HEYZ’s work if you listen closely. Dynamic as ever, the producer delivers another compelling arrangement — one to capture our attention and our hearts.
