If you’ve been following the news recently, you’ve heard that GameStop is going wild in the stock market right now. Driven by a “fuck the rich” mentality from users on /r/wallstreetbets on Reddit, the price of $GME has soared over the past week and a half, peaking at nearly $350 a share on January 27.
Now, it appears that Boys Noize is getting in on the game with a meme trap song called “Game Stop (Wen Moon)” released solely on Audius. I say appears because, given Audius’ decentralized platform, it’s possible for random people to upload songs to verified users’ accounts. And given the style and quality of the production, and the fact that Boys Noize hasn’t posted about the track, or the US stock market for that matter, we’re inclined to think this may be a fake.
