Electronic music duo Ivy Lab have announced they will disband in 2026. In a statement shared with fans on social media, the pair confirmed that the coming year will mark the end of Ivy Lab, as Sabre and Stray shift their focus toward solo projects. In their statement they emphasised that they will not leave quietly; “we don’t intend on leaving quietly.There are final releases to share with the world, and throughout 2026 we will be relishing the chance to play some final Ivy Lab shows in pivotal places that mean so much to our story over the past decade. Solo music is bubbling. Twenty Twenty London is keeping on.”
They also revealed that their Twenty Twenty London record label will continue operating beyond the duo’s conclusion. Ivy Lab initially formed in 2013 as a trio which included drum and bass producer Halogenix who left the group in 2018 to focus on his solo work. The trio rose from North London’s club scene to become pioneers of the chest-rattling halftime genre. Ivy Lab played a pivotal role in shaping a distinct sound that earned them widespread acclaim within the electronic music community all over the globe.
