Daijo drops moving new single ‘Broken Dreams’ on Revealed Recordings

Daijo has returned with another powerful and earnest offering. Released on Hardwell’s label Revealed Recordings, ‘Broken Dreams’ showcases Daijo’s fervent storytelling ability in a profound and relatable manner.

The track sees Daijo immaculately balance intense emotion with melodic sensibilities, which capture the heart of the listener while still holding an infectious groove. ‘Broken Dreams’ was written by Daijo as way to process disappointment. The introspective single carries a sense of intention throughout, and does not dwell on the heaviness and emotional turmoil of the situation, instead it breathes clarity and hope into the circumstance. Sharing more on the inspiration behind the single Daijo said; “‘Broken Dreams’ came from a moment where things didn’t turn out the way I imagined. But instead of sitting in that feeling, I wanted to explore what comes after — the growth, the clarity, the quiet strength that follows disappointment. It’s about accepting loss without losing yourself.”

‘Broken Dreams’ feels futuristic, and like it could easily be part of the soundtrack to a dystopian, cyberpunk movie. The single features extravagant, larger than life builds, synths that skyrocket into the ethers and a magnetic melody that pulls the listener into its formidable forcefield. The track is yet another sublime and masterful addition to Daijo’s ever-expanding and evolving discography.
