Akai has officially dropped its highly anticipated portable MPC Sample.
The MPC Sample, takes the 40 year MPC legacy to the next level with its accessible and more affordable design. Specifically made for on-the-go sampling, beat making and sound design, this new addition to the iconic MPC range packs a punch!
According to the Akai website, the MPC Sample includes the workflow of vintage MPCs “into a compact, modern format with features that empower limitless creativity.” Additionally, it has a full colour display, comes with over 100 kits, pad and knob effects along with an intuitive chopping workflow, a lithium-ion battery, microSD card storage, built-in speaker, and a USB-C connection with no DAW being required.
Aimed at equipping a new generation of creatives with the classic and reliable MPC technology, the “powerful yet approachable” MPC can adapt to any environment while still satisfying the needs of the creator.
