John Summit & Subtronics to Perform as SUBJOHNICS at 2026 Experts Only Festival

John Summit and Subtronics will team up as SUBJOHNICS for the return of Experts Only Festival in 2026.

The artist-led event, curated by John Summit, has dropped its first-wave lineup featuring GRiZ, Prospa, Rohaan, Taiki Nulight, Korolova, Devault, Partiboi69, LYNY, and more. Following a hugely successful 2025 debut on Randall’s Island that drew 50,000 attendees and became New York’s largest dance music event (helping fill a major gap after the city’s EDM scene faced tough times including venue bankruptcies).

The 2025 edition stood out by stepping in at a time when the city’s EDM scene had faced major challenges, including venue issues and the absence of big festivals like Electric Zoo in recent years, creating a significant gap for large-scale dance events. Fans and organisers praised the smooth production, immersive art installations, food vendors, and overall fan-focused experience that helped fill that void and quickly made it one of the most talked-about events of the year.

The festival returns to the same iconic venue on September 19-20, 2026 with upgraded production from Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW. Pre-sale tickets and General Sale Tickets are now available, secure yours HERE. “We’re excited to return with an even bigger experience… pushing the boundaries of what an artist-led dance music festival can look like,” said Medium Rare co-founder Adam Richman.
