New York is gearing up for a full-scale celebration of the longest day of the year, as Red Bull brings its Summer Solstice Party series to the city on Saturday, June 20. The one-day takeover is part of a wider global concept linking six cities through music, energy, and a shared dancefloor moment.
Taking place at Sunset Park Rooftop in Brooklyn, the New York edition will run from late morning right through into the night, stretching from 10 AM to 1 AM. The setting alone sets the tone: open skies, skyline views, and a lineup designed to match the scale of the occasion.
At the heart of the event is a strong focus on Black Electronic music and its global influence. The lineup brings together a wide spectrum of artists, including techno pioneer Juan Atkins, UK-based Ayanna Heaven, genre-bending selector Bambii, and New York’s own UNIIQU3, alongside shekdash, Anastazja, Black Rave Culture, Tim Fields, Playr1, Soulection co-founder Andre Power, and more. 
What makes this series stand out isn’t just the curation, but the concept behind it. Each city in the global takeover, spanning Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Tokyo, and others, will host its own distinct party, yet remain connected through live broadcast technology, allowing dancers across continents to share the same moment in real time.
From sunrise energy to late-night intensity, the New York instalment is shaping up to be less of a standard event and more of a living, breathing global exchange. One where music becomes the bridge between time zones, cultures, and dancefloors.
For one day only, the solstice isn’t just about the sun staying out longer. It’s about the world dancing a little longer together too.
