Pacha has confirmed the cancellation of Solomun’s Diynamic Outdoor Ibiza showcase, which was due to take place on July 11 at Cantera Can Coix. The event was set to transform the former quarry into a one-night open-air venue, with Solomun joined by Johannes Brecht (live), Rafael Cerato and Aladag for an evening of melodic house music against one of Ibiza’s most distinctive natural backdrops.
Billed as a sunset-to-night experience running from 7pm until 3am, the event aimed to move beyond the traditional club setting by combining electronic music with the island’s landscape. The concept had generated significant anticipation, with Cantera Can Coix offering a rare outdoor location for Diynamic’s Ibiza programming.
In a statement shared across its social media channel, Pacha and Pacha ICONS said they had decided not to proceed after reassessing the event in light of the reaction that followed its announcement. Organisers explained that the conversation surrounding the showcase had moved away from the vision they had hoped to create, adding that the project was never intended as a commercial venture but rather as a special experience for Ibiza and its community.
All ticket holders will receive full refunds, with organisers confirming that further details will be communicated directly to customers. While the July 11 event will no longer go ahead, Pacha indicated it hopes to revisit the concept in the future under more favourable circumstances.
