The French duo just won’t let us take a breather. What a way of kickstarting the year, first with the rumors, then the official confirmation of their switch to Columbia with the release of their album cover, and just yesterday, Daft Punk revealed a short but incredibly pleasing commercial on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. While many went from dumbfounded to ecstatic, what most did not realize was that accompanying the commercial was a 15 second audio clip playing in the background. That 15 second clip is the very first preview that anyone has heard of their upcoming album.
