Mau5trap’s Matt Lange Set to Take Over Sound Nightclub for Album Release Party

unnamed (1)

Los Angeles resident and recent Mau5trap signing Matt Lange’s is only a few days away from releasing his first ever artist album, Ephemera, and of course, he decided to throw a party to celebrate. Taking place at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles and hosted by our good friends, the InDeep crew, it will be the world’s first look at one of electronica’s most celebrated technical producer’s newest creation.

Matt Lange has a rich history in dance – the producer was one of Anjunadeep’s brightest stars in its early inception. He has now taken his talents to mau5trap. Hand selected by The Mau5 himself, Joel has has apparently been a fan of Matt’s for years.

The album itself is a compilation of eerie, dark-tuned electronic music that leans towards the techno end of the spectrum, but it’s so much more than that. Truly one to have one foot in dance music and the other in something completely different, Lange has poured not only his heart into this first release, but also years of legendary technical prowess.  “The album’s really a snapshot of where I am right now as an artist,” Lange explains. “It’s this turning point where I have one foot in the world of dance music, and the other foot in a whole different direction.”

Thursday night in L.A will be a fantastic chance for Lange to strut his stuff in the city where it matters most: Los Angeles. Tickets can be purchased here.
