Miami’s dance music scene just got some good news. After months of legal back-and-forth, Insomniac has reached a settlement with local nightlife players David Sinopoli, Davide Danese, and Jose Gabriel Coloma Cano, putting an end to a dispute that had left the fate of Club Space and Factory Town hanging in the balance. Insomniac first got a foothold in the city back in 2019 when it bought into Club Space, then deepened its presence a few years later with Factory Town, the Hialeah venue that’s since grown into one of the go-to spots during Miami Music Week and Art Basel.
The relationship soured when Insomniac accused the operators of violating a prior Factory Town buyout agreement and continuing to act with authority over the venue, while the operators countered that Insomniac had pushed them out and taken unilateral control of programming. Under the new settlement, Insomniac will keep operating Club Space alongside Sinopoli and stay involved with Factory Town going forward, while Danese and Coloma Cano will continue running Jolene with Sinopoli and pursue new projects of their own. 
Practically, the deal means continuity for fans. Club Space, known for its marathon Terrace sessions and sunrise-to-daylight culture, and Factory Town both remain tied to Insomniac’s national footprint, while the local operators who helped build Miami’s current club scene stay active in the city. It closes a volatile chapter for two venues that have come to define the city’s electronic music identity, without knocking either off the map.
