BitTorrent has re-imagined the world of music downloading with their most recent online facelift. From albums, remix packages, and discographies, BitTorrent has released a variety of material for high-profile musicians over the last year. Now, they have revealed their BitTorrent Report showcasing the most downloaded artists and music bundles throughout the year. The report covers a wide range of statistics that show thought-provoking trends across the users of BitTorrent and what they look for between movies and music. Although the list may not display who the most downloaded musicians are across the entire Internet, the list contains plenty of EDM artists and plenty of other artists including the following:

01. Thom Yorke
02. Diplo
03. Gramatik
04. De La Soul
05. Zeds Dead
06. G-Eazy
07. Ace Hood
08. Mad Decent (Bundle)
09. Vinyl Williams
10. Hundred Waters

According to BitTorrent, bundle users are 170% more likely to purchase music off their site than the average Internet users. Although BitTorrent allows patrons to grab music for free, over 6.5 million users purchased content via their paygate option. The crazy thing about BitTorrent’s new setup with paygate is that 90 percent of the profits actually go to the artists who’s music they put out. This incredible new reinvigoration of torrent clients has done what BitTorrent believes is bringing back the “records” and making them the “last record store”. Check out the rest of the Report here.
