Mord Fustang – Champloo [Plasmapool]

Mord Fustang has definitely been living up to his title as as Beatport’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year for 2012. His newest release, Champloo, is enough to have earned him that award on it’s own. Glitch hop has been overshadowed in EDM’s recent popularity by house, dubstep, and the other big genres. Koan Sound has made a huge impact in bringing it to the public ears, but it’s not quite there yet. To see a track in this style from a producer like Mord Fustang is very exciting for fans of funky music. The Estonian does a paralyzingly good job of incorporating a the groovy beats you’d expect to hear at 100bpm with some of his personal tricks.
