SFX Entertainment, headed up by Robert Sillerman, has purchased 75% of ID&T, the company that puts on Sensation, Tomorrowland and Mysteryland. In the deal ID&T is valued at $130 million. The deal is worth $97.5 million in cash and stock. This now puts Sillerman and his SFX Entertainment group in charge of Disco Donnie Presents, Life in Color, Opium Group, although that purchase may have fallen through (owners of: Mansion Nightclub, Cameo Nightclub, Louis-Bar Lounge, SET Nightclub, Mokai Lounge, Opium Hard Rock), MMG (owners of Arkadia, Liv, Story) and Beatport. Now add Tomorowland, Mysteryland and Sensation to that list. The clubs, the festivals and the music have all fallen into the lap of SFX Entertainment. Sillerman stated “It also gives us the global footprint to begin creating the worldwide community of dance fans.”
Sillerman also stated:
