With EDC Vegas just around the corner, we at Your EDM have been deciding who we want to see for what is to be one of the biggest festivals of the year. Besides the typical MUSTS, we have been compiling a list of artists who are changing the game and bringing their own unique sound to the main stage. With the whole world watching, the 5 artists below are the ones to watch at this years Electric Daisy Carnival!
Booka Shade
The german house duo known as Booka Shade will be bringing you the best vibe music around. implementing various different controllers, Booka Shade is known for their sexy deep house that will have you jammin all night. Although this is not music you fist pump and rage to, their unique vibe will be the perfect warm up for your night.

Jack Beats
Oh man oh man you cannot miss this british power house. The duo Jack Beats will have you jumping around and going crazy to their dirty electro sounds. if you thought builds were intense, wait until you hear the double and even triple builds Jack Beats will be dropping just to have you on the edge of your seat. Their wonky electro house sound will have you going crazy all night!

UMEK
Tech master UMEK will lul you into a deep trance as he is more a conductor, than a DJ. Although tech house and techno aren’t as prominent in the United States rave scene yet, UMEK’s music has an undeniable effect on your body. I dare you not to be tapping your foot.

Dog Blood
The dynamic duo consisting of Skrillex and Boyz Noize is the ultimate headliner. It’s almost like dubstep got a dirty techno makeover and as a result, perfection. The best set for peak hour, Dog Blood will take you on a wild ride that only results in a fantastic time.

Laidback Luke
I will forever include Laidback Luke in any post like this because he makes other DJ’s look like noobs. While some DJ’s will use 15 songs in a set, Laidback Luke will include upwards of 40 tracks to bring you a unique and entertaining experience that cannot be matched.

frickiinnnn good call
Eric Prydz without a doubt is the standout to me. The guy does not book a touring-heavy schedule, is a legend within progressive house (in the true sense of the song really building over time). He doesn’t go crazy with mashups and mixing at a rapid rate like many others, but lets the songs slowly build and create an unparalleled energy. Not adjusting to the trend of many other DJ’s who just play hit after hit, you never know quite what to expect from Pryda, but his sets are always constructed masterfully. Throw in some of that heavy bass and a deep-in-the-night ambiance and this sits as my frontrunner for best set. Side Note: many of the songs he plays or might play are private remixes or unreleased, making the set even more worthwhile.
