Philly’s Dotcom released a free remix of Wale’s “Clappers” two days ago on his Soundcloud and I must say, it’s much better than the original. If we wanted to delve into sub-genres then I’d have to say this is festival trap, but once you listen it’s more like a block party anthem. After a recognizable sample from “Bounce,” a thick sawtooth bass hits you at the drop and then a smooth synth line takes over to make you feel like an OG player.
