Perry Farrell, frontman for the rock band Jane’s Addiction, is in the middle of executing plans to bring an EDM Broadway musical to life. This was talked about in an interview he had with Rolling Stone, where he also mentioned the French DJ/producer Joachim Garraud is his partner for the project. The musical, entitled “Kind Heaven,” will be a modern love story between a soldier and a woman worker who live in the conflicted Thailand. Audience interaction is one of the staple trademarks of this epic undertaking and musically it will have “house sensibility” says Perry, who is working on getting a Las Vegas deal for the show. “Kind Heaven” and Lollapalooza have Perry’s hands tied, so do not expect much from Jane’s Addiction in the next few years.
