After the latest round of funding for Soundcloud comes to a close, The Wall Street Journal released the company’s valuation which is now hovering at 700 Million dollars. With their latest round bringing in over 60 million, the music giants have solidified their position as one of the top music platforms in the world and now they have the numbers to back it.
Although they are still behind the likes of Spotify and Pandora, the latest round of funding will allow Soundcloud to “grow more rapidly in product, personnel, and expansion in mobile efforts.” says one representative.
