Magnetic Magazine and Complex TV have paired up to present Off The Grid, a 6-series show that follows producers’ creative journey as they make music out of their comfort zone. “We created Off The Grid to challenge producers and DJs to get outside the box and look at music in a different way,” explains David Ireland, President of Magnetic Magazine.
The first episode features Gareth Emery, who will leave the comforts of his LA studio to venture off into the Southern California desert, where he’ll have to find inspiration from his surroundings to produce a new track. Gareth states that he doesn’t draw on personal experiences to write music, which gives all the more reason to be excited about what’s to come in the next 5 installments of the show.
