A couple weeks ago, the Boston-based duo NU.F.O released their single “Quest” (check it out here). The original is a house/pop tune with vocals reminiscent of early 2000’s alternative rock. Recently they revealed Noya’s remix of “Quest,” and it’s quite heavy. The remix is a melodic dubstep reinterpretation of the original featuring a high pitched melody running through the drops accompanied by some righteous bass, making for an interesting tune. Noya’s remix starts out with a plucky guitar melody and leads to the original’s awesome vocals then takes your through a journey of heavy bass, melodic vibes, and interesting vocal work. It’s energy packed, diverse, and unique.
