Getting the feels going is Kilospark, a new act that you might recognize as the moombahlicious Kapo. His love for progressive house has boiled over long enough; now, he has created the project to express all of those emotions through the use of melodic structures. The first creation comes in the form of a “Hey Now” bootleg. However, I think if London Grammar heard this tune they would totally back it as official, because it sounds stellar both musically and technically. The energy this brings is not overbearing; it’s more of an emotionally positive roller coaster. With progressive, what comes to mind is usually the distinct pluck sample, but Kilospark made use of a more sustained synth sample that I thought was a nice changeup from the usual. Expect much more in the future and stay up to date on both projects that Cristiano is moving forward with.
