MVTH – Good Power [Buygore Records]

Out earlier this week on Borgore‘s Buygore Records is a new one from US bass duo MVTH. This is definitely one for those who like their sounds lurching and frenzied, as ‘Good Power’ will knock you for six. It’s a blend of styles and sounds, moving from the rasping Trap-influenced snares to the grinding electro progression running over the top.

The dominating rhythm comes into play from the offset, as frantic snippets of vocals are added later on. Synths here are busy and powerful, with some much-needed contrast during the melody-led breakdown.
