Earlier this month OWSLA signee, Alex Metric, dropped off his latest indie dance flavored single entitled ‘Heart Weighs A Ton’. Featuring an assortment of sentimental chords and anthemic progressions interlaced with Stefan Storm’s uplifting vocals, Metric’s latest record was feel good music at its finest. Despite being in circulation for only a couple weeks, ‘Heart Weighs A Ton’ is already resurfacing with a tremendous jackin’ house remix from none other than Laidback Luke. Tastefully accentuating Storm’s vocals with a palatable deluge of house melodies and a pulsing bassline; Luke’s remix provides a welcome lift to the inspirative original.
