Your EDM Premiere: Otto Knows – Parachute (Drumsound & Bassline Smith Remix)

Drumsound & Bassline Smith have a strong reputation in the drum & bass community. Their essential mix from 2012 is still one of my favorites ever, and they continue to pump out consistently strong tunes that redefine the genre for the better. This latest entry into their discography comes as a remix to “Parachute” by Otto Knows.

The original could be classified as something like French electro, with it’s breathtaking vocals, gritty synth work and bouncy bassline. DS&BS turn it on its head with a catchy bass hook (seriously, I dare you to not sing along to “bwom bwom” when you hear it) and an energized drum sequence. Expect this to be on dancefloors everywhere soon.
