If you’re looking for your fix of bass today, you’ve found it. Seriously, stop looking.
Dodge & Fuski have recently taken a more glitch-focused approach to productions, but thanks in part to the keen guidance of Barely Alive, the two have emerged from the depths of the studio with a little bit of “Poison.” Rather than Dodge & Fuski vs Barely Alive, the track sounds like it could just as well be Caspa vs Datsik, and that’s a huge compliment.
From the very first synth, I was hooked. It’s definitely got an old style dubstep sound, and every time I think it’s going to switch it up it stays consistent and I love that. It’s got the classic UK vocal sample you would expect from someone like Caspa or Rusko, and the bassline is downright nasty.
This track though comes as just a teaser, as Dodge & Fuski and Barely Alive, in conjunction with Disciple Recordings, are taking part in the Alliance Tour this month. This lineup is just Part 1, so if your city isn’t on the list yet, be patient.
