After a long wait, Rogue has returned in full force with his newest single “Atlantic.” A funky intro greets you as you’re taken into a melodic breakdown that would make even Mord Fustang proud. Rogue has taken elements of genres like progressive house and big room that makes them anthemic and applied these themes to “Atlantic”. The drops are groovy, complex, keeping you on your toes. It’s clear to me that Rogue has poured his heart and soul in to this track and it really paid off. With only a few more releases left, “Atlantic” is shaping up to be one of my favorite releases on Monstercat 019 and one of my favorite tracks this year; absolutely incredible work from Rogue.
