Although Calvin Harris may seem like an esteemed producer and collaborator in the pop world, even he can get rejected by fellow artists. Harris recently revealed he had worked on a song for Rihanna with R&B singer Tinashe, but was turned down, despite their massive 2011 hit “We Found Love”. While Harris recently released his fourth studio album, “Motion“, Rihanna is set to unveil her newest album “really soon”, according to Harris.
Whatever reasons Rihanna has for turning down Harris’ production work, there’s not necessarily reason to suspect the two have burned any bridges, so a future collaboration between the two is not entirely out of the question for now.
