Imagine if Flume and Diplo were to combine their genetics to create a male musical prodigy, the resultant “Fliplo” child would be Louis Futon.
With future influence and trap-based percussion, an extremely original sound emerges that feels irreplaccable. At least, I’ve surely never heard anything like this before; and I mean this all in the best possible way. Crawling, gritty basslines create a previously unexplored atmosphere and ride seamlessly along heavily manipulated vocal sampling in this instant hit. The uniquely structured and throbbing beat descends into a full ranged “drop” that makes use of extremely diverse instrumentation for three and a half minutes of splendor.
I could go on and on, but just listen. The music speaks for itself.
