Better than Dillon Francis, is how I would describe this remix.
“Runaway (U&I)” has become a widely known track played out at festivals all over the world. But Jonathan Kane (formerly Shreddie Mercury) has completely remodeled the progressive house track into a huge electro house banger.
Starting in the rise with some dnb drums and pushing the tempo up, the vocals rise to greet the powerful drop. I love the pitch adjustments on the bassline, keeps things nice and interesting throughout the tune. The kick is large and boisterous along with the arpeggiated synths, it’s a damn fine dance track. The whole thing is hugely melodic and inspiration, but it really reaches another level entirely on the second drop. The higher pitched lead synth is incredibly catchy and carries the whole project to unbelievable heights.
