triple j’s Hottest 100 is one of the biggest music countdowns of the year. Fans from all over the world vote to see what songs defined the year. The list is debuted with a massive countdown on Australia Day, January 26. Last year only two dance music songs made the Top 10: “Drop The Game” by Flume & Chet Faker, and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”, which charted at #5 and #3 respectively. As the deadline for voting draws near, triple j has asked some of today’s biggest artists what songs made their “Best of 2014” lists. Flume, Porter Robinson, and Peking Duk’s responses are below, and you can check out who else submitted a list on their website.
