GTA have got something really special planned for next week. Long-time fans of the duo from Miami know they’ve been teasing their first official body of work, the DTG Vol. 1 EP out next week, March 23rd.
As a huge run-up to the premiere, GTA are dropping mini-mixes with unreleased content from the EP – but we’re not gonna tell you what it is! That’s just to keep you guessing.
The first part dropped yesterday on Hypetrak, and we’ve got Part 2 for you below. There are five parts in total to the mini-mixes, and the last part will be released as they are all strung together into one flowing mix. For now though, you’ll just have to settle for them one at a time. Check out Part 2 below and get ready for DTG Vol. 1.
If you don’t feel like waiting for the full EP to drop, you’re in luck. GTA are headlining Beyond Wonderland this weekend in Southern California and they’re sure to drop some unreleased goodies for you. They’ll also be in Miami for Ultra Music Festival, and will have their own party for WMC, and you wouldn’t want to miss either of those.
UPDATE: Surprise!!! GTA just dropped one of the tracks from the EP featuring TJR, no doubt made while the two were on tour together these past couple months. Titled “Mic Check,” this bounce tune has enough angst to rival a ’90s goth teen. Check it out below.
