Krewella’s Jahan Shares Song About Police Brutality

Amidst the controversial Baltimore Riots and the ongoing conversation regarding police brutality in the United States, Jahan Yousaf of EDM trio-turned-duo Krewella shared a new song she wrote with her friend JT entitled “When The Bullet Hits Home” on the subject.

The two and a half minute acoustic track accompanies a video of her performing the song, mashed up with video from the aftermath of the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore. It’s a profound message and speaks volumes to the Krew’s new-found voice which feels more true to heart than their previous, more radio-ready music.

Check it out below.

“My friend JT and I just wrote this together- ‘When the Bullet Hits Home.’ Shout out to our homie Carlos Reyes for capturing the moment”
