Continuing with today’s lovely Cinco De Mayo backdrop, here’s the latest from Mexicali’s own Thee Cool Cats. The track is titled “Thee Corner”, and is a collaboration with UK producer Lee M. Kelsall from Hot Waves and Toolroom Records. A smooth yet fierce bassline reels your ears in until they are eventually met with the familiar (and highly addictive) vocals from Suzanne Vega’s “Tom’s Diner”. Her soothing voice complements the track nicely and provides a warmth to help envelop the thumping bass. “Thee Corner” is now available on Beatport, along with a remix from Vanilla Ace and Chad Tyson. Check out the track below, all Thee Cool Cats are doing it anyways.
