The Full Flex Express Tour is in full swing now, and plenty of non-Canadians (myself included) are greener than ever with jealousy. Yesterday, Yahoo! aired a live stream of the Toronto stop and now, Global Sets has provided us with the audio from Jack Ü’s set. It’s chock-full of classics, with plenty of hits from Diplo and Skrillex’s early solo days.
Things start off with a “Take Ü There” / “In Da Club” mashup, so you know it’s going to be legendary. Only a handful of songs later, we hear Skrill’s remix of “Levels,” albeit only the buildup. It’s mashed with the Bro Safari & Ricky Remedy remix of “Terror Squad,” the Zomboy track that gained attention for supposedly being a rip of Skrillex’s unreleased “This Much Power.” But in an era where “Levels” is used exclusively to troll, it’s refreshing to hear it being seriously played at all in a big name act’s set.
Another huge standout track was “First of the Year (Equinox)” because honestly, how long has it been since anyone has heard that? And speaking of tracks that haven’t been played in a while, the duo decided to use a DJ Snake edit of “Kernkraft 400” as a build into “Breakn’ a Sweat (It’s Alright).” If that’s doesn’t get you hyped at a show, then I don’t know what will.
Basically, this entire set is full of well known tracks; some are played out and some are epically mashed up with other classics. Sprinkle in some lesser heard bangers, and you have Jack Ü’s Toronto set. Check out the whole tracklist after the jump and see for yourself.
