Diplo & Eric Prydz To Host Apple Music Beats 1 Show

Diplo and Eric Prydz are the two latest names announced as hosts of their own Apple Music radio services, “Beats 1” joining a whole host of other music industry A listers including Drake, Disclosure, Dr Dre, and more.

Diplo’s aptly named show, Lazer Sound, debuts October 2nd at 10PM GMT while Eric Prydz’s will debut the following week on October 9th at the same time timeslot allowing both shows to alternate weeks down the line.

Speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe yesterday, Diplo said “If you’ve heard any of our live sets, you can expect everything under the sun.” While Eric Prydz promised that his show would contain “exclusive material, exclusive music from myself and my peers” and added that “it’s going to be music, new talent. I’m just going to have fun with it.”

Check out both artists’ interviews with Zane Lowe below.

With the latest numbers coming in, and Apple Music clocking in at 11 million subscribers (though dropping), Diplo and Prydz are looking to open themselves up to a much, much wider audience.
